About the job
As an Associate Data Scientist, you will assist in developing solutions that address the company’s vision and strategy. In this role, you will maximize the use of technology, data, and information to drive the development of new products and services, as well as operational effectiveness and revenue growth for CareCentrix. You will leverage data science and evidence-based insights to help transform the delivery of needed healthcare services to patients in the comfort of their own home. You will explore current and emerging technologies that can disrupt the current post-acute care business model both inside and outside of CareCentrix.
In this role you will:
Build an understanding of the technology, machine learning, and big data to understand relevant technologies and applications in the healthcare space
Develop data science products that support the delivery of additional healthcare services in the comfort of the patient’s home
Provide financial stewardship for capital and expense budgets associated with the new technologies being considered
Collect and clean data from various sources
Analyze data to identify trends and patterns
Apply simple Machine Learning algorithms for tasks like predictive modeling
Make recommendations based on insights; focus on process, continuous process improvement and quality
Attend industry conferences, forums, and talks, providing key information back to the organization
This is the role for you if:
You have a passion for Machine Learning
You have experience cleaning, wrangling, and testing complex data
You have intermediate skills in Python and some exposure to SQL
You have successfully driven projects to completion

You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science in areas such as Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or other allied advanced technology fields or equivalent experience
You have 0-2 years of experience in data management in a Big Data environment
You have knowledge of the commercial and open-source tools for end-to-end enterprise data management with focus on tools being used in Big Data space
You have knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and big data concepts
You have experience creating visual representation of data
You have an understanding of statistical concepts and handling of large data sets

Pay Range: $75000 - $90000 / year plus bonus incentives.
