About the job V-Tech Solutions, Inc. is looking to identify HBCU Masters and Doctoral Program students to join our 100% remote HBCU Fellowship Program for the Summer of 2024. This 8-week program will be facilitated in conjunction with our client, the Child Welfare Information Gateway (CWIG), to have fellows engage in meaningful work, related to enhancing Child Welfare outcomes across the country. Selected fellows will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing projects, conduct independent research, and develop transferrable skills under the guidance of experienced mentors. Experience working with SMEs in the field of Marketing, Public Policy, and Data Peer-to-peer connections with other HBCU doctoral and master level students 1:1 mentoring with Program Managers, Executives, and C-Suite individuals to grow Knowledge and connection with SMEs of a critical human service-system that is undergoing transformation Development and refinement of skills to support fellows in their academic and professional lives Growth in the space of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Opportunity to present at staff meetings with 65+ in attendance Students with the following academic background and/or experiences are encouraged to apply: Data Analytics, Data Architecture Marketing and Communications Public Policy Statistics, Sociology or Psychology Background Project Management Application process: All candidates must submit an Unofficial copy of their transcripts from their Undergraduate or Graduate HBCU Institution All candidates must submit a Letter of Intent with their application outlining the below: Why are you applying to join V-Tech’s HBCU Masters and Doctoral Fellowship program? All candidates must submit a copy of their most recent Resume/CV when applying to the position Job Requirements Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited Institution Current enrollment in a Masters or Doctoral Program at an HBCU Institution 2.75 GPA for Undergraduate Degree/3.0 GPA for Master’s Level Degree Minimum for consideration Uninterrupted availability 40 hours/week, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, from June 3, 2024, to July 26, 2024 Excellent research, writing, and communication skills Experience with PowerBI, Tableau or other Data Visualization tools, preferred Responsibilities: Collaborate with the project team on ongoing projects and initiatives Conduct research and share findings with Executives as it relates to Family First Plans across the country Attend and participate in meetings and workshops within the project Assist in the development of deliverables, tasks, reports, and presentations as directed
