Position Overview
We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst who will be responsible for monitoring networks for security breaches and investigate them when they occur.

Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required #qinetiqclearedjob
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data and security logs for signs of potential attacks.
Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of security tasks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for reporting findings and making recommendations to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity, particularly in roles focused on threat analysis, incident response, or penetration testing.
Experience with cybersecurity tools and platforms, such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability assessment tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).
