Job Title : Specialist - HR Operations
Department : Human Resources
Reports to : Team Manager - HR Operations
Purpose:
Work flexibly across a range of tasks, delivering to a high and compliant standard, to agreed
processes and controls and provides excellent levels of Candidate Experience.
Day-to-day basis responsibilities:
• Management and delivery of an effective set of services ensuring an efficient and costeffective process.
On time, accurate and compliant processing of:
Candidate Referencing and additional checks.
Other activities like contracting and course closure. Supporting with administrative
duties across the wider function.
• Working with third party suppliers to ensure candidate referencing is in line with agreed
policy, processes and standards.
• Assist in the coordination and completion of Security Interviews, Criminal Records
Checks, Overseas Criminal Record Checks and Enhanced Criminal Records Checks as
required by company policy.
• Keep up to date with changes to airport standards, government legislation and internal
process.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects sharing Subject Matter Expertise.
• May be required to act as BA and Airport Authority signatory for verification of
references to support security pass issue.
• Ensures that information is stored and processed in line with Company and legal
requirements e.g. GDPR, ICFR controls.
• Ensures that all candidates joining BA meet the strict regulatory compliance required
within the desired timescales whilst still meeting both candidate and business
expectations.
• There is an expectation that you will undertake ad-hoc work on an exceptional basis or
provide relevant cover for other team tasks.
