Job Summary:
As a Cyber Security Analyst at PCF Insurance, you will help a dedicated team secure one of the fastest-growing insurance brokerages in the country. This is an intermediate-level, professional role, that works as assigned with clear instruction and supervision from Cyber Security leaders to leverage designated tools and processes to monitor, investigate, and maintain PCF Insurance's IT environment. This position exercises judgment within defined procedures, practices, and cyber security leadership guidance to determine the best course of action. This role positively influences colleagues beyond the Cyber Security Team and regularly contributes to the rest of the team's proactive conversations.
Responsibilities:
Review logs and reports for patterns that would indicate potential cyber security incidents.
Identify abnormal circumstances, events, and combinations for further review and investigation.
Stakeholder in security event discovery and investigation under the direction of Information Security Leadership.
Collaborate in the creation and improvement of cyber security policies, processes, and runbooks.
Execute established security practices with consistency and discipline; and continually look for ways to improve practices.
Participate in the evaluation and remediation of vulnerability and pen test findings. Provide relevant analysis, suggest mitigation, track remediation, manage scheduled scans, identify gaps, expand scan coverage, and escalate as appropriate to Information Security Leadership.
Conduct Cyber Security Risk Assessments.
Gain and apply general knowledge of information security practices, trends, and technologies.
Qualifications:
One or more of the following certifications are preferred: Security+, Security Pro, GSEC, GCED, GCDA.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience preferred.
2 Years of related experience in Information Security, Information Technology, and/or Computer Science.
Understanding of networking and technology operations.
Understanding of Information Security tools, technologies, threats, attack methods, and practices.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux OS, CLI, PowerShell and associated security concerns.
Demonstrated experience identifying attacks relating to application security, network security, host-based security, etc.
Basic knowledge of Information Security risk terminology and methods.
Professional written and oral communication skills.
Ability to successfully work in a team and with individuals outside of a team setting
Compensation: $72,000 to $95,000
Location: Onsite - 2500 Executive Pkwy # 200, Lehi, UT 84043
Schedule: FT Hours of Operation 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
