Brief Overview of Position As a Business Processes Senior Consultant, to facilitate and support the SAP Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting solutions to enhance in-house business functionality and overall performance. This is a Senior Consultant’s role, requiring expert knowledge and understanding of SAP
technical & functional FICO capabilities, including industry best practices.
Detailed responsibilities ● Prepare and deliver demonstrations/presentations in support of new business requirements.
● Create detailed design, architecture and process artefacts and implement the deployment plan.
● Responsible for analysis, advisory services, specification and complex problem-solving within the SAP area.
● Lead and assist in SAP design sessions or blueprint workshops.
● Test and deploy code into the appropriate environment.
● Lead and drive the implementation team and facilitate them on integration and solution definition for the SAP MDM and MDG.
● Maintain responsibility for and help ensure the service and process components are seamlessly integrated into other areas.
● Validate and enhance the integration points between finance, strategy, and planning processes, SAP core components, SAP technology components such as Portal, and other non-SAP technology sets.
● Guide businesses on the appropriate use of the SAP system.
● Assist in system implementation activities of data migration and training.
● Participate in business solution workshops and share configuration and integration expertise.
● Work closely with the implementation team to manage/ monitor their priorities and deliverables.
● Responsible for analysis, design, and documentation of new solutions/concepts.
● Work closely with in-house process owner to capture their integration requirements and define Integration strategies and roadmaps.
● Work with support to troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth operation and performance of the platform.
● Expertise in FICO module and hands-on experience in GL, AA, COPC, COPA and Material Ledger.
● Implement new requirements on FICO and support end users after Go-Live.
● Taking appropriate action to resolve operational incidents.
● Maintaining service tickets with appropriate information.
Qualification: ● C.A/ MBA Finance/ bachelor’s degree in engineering, including IT/ Computer Science or MCA.
● Certification in SAP S/4HANA FICO.
Experience: ● A minimum of 10 years of SAP S/4 HANA consulting experience with at least 8 years in Financial Accounting and Management Accounting
● 5 + years of hands-on experience implementing S/4HANA projects
● Should have knowledge of MM, SD module of SAP S/4 HANA
Language Proficiency ● Fluency in English (both orally and in writing).
Special Skill sets required ● Expert understanding of the integration of the various components within the Financial Accounting (FI) module, such as General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), New Asset Accounting (FI-AA New), Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Bank Communication Management (BCM), and Treasury Management (TRM), as well as their integration with other SAP Modules.
● Deep understanding of the integration of the components within the Management Accounting (CO) module, such as Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Order Related Accounting (OPA), Account Based Profitability Analysis (ABCOPA), Project Systems (PS), Product Costing, and Material Ledger, as well as their integration with other SAP Modules.
● Expert knowledge of Advanced Credit Management, Collections and Disputes Management, and Cash Management.
● Deep understanding of Inventory Management, Business Partner concepts, Bank Account Management, Cash Position and Cash Flow Analysis, and Liquidity Forecasting/Planning.
● Deep understanding of SAP Fiori UX
● Working knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) is desired.
● Working knowledge of Central Finance (CFIN) is desired.
● A working knowledge of CDS Views and how they can be leveraged for complex reporting requirements is desired.
● Working knowledge of ABAP debugging skills is desired.
● Ability to conduct and facilitate complex and interactive solutions workshops.
● Leadership skills; lead process owner engagements relating to Financial and Management Accounting.
● SAP Activate Project Management methodology is desired.
