Technical Content Writer Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Technical Content Writer to be part of our dynamic Tech Training Team at CloudThat. The ideal candidate should hold a hunger for driving content strategy ability to create successful content, maintain project documentation and aid in organization growth. The candidate will be responsible for generating exciting and compelling cloud curriculum content for both online offline training that will be read by many participants.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Comfortable working with WordPress to create technical blogposts
Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content
Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for success
Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
Work with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage
Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that uphold organizational and legal standards, and allow for easy data migration
Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation
Make sure all content is engaging to users, of the highest quality, keyword smart to limit competing pages, etc.
Excellent English writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other functions to create innovative content ideas.
Format/ write the content received from SME s
Perform day-to-day operations as required.
Requirements:
Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in Content writing / tech blogging for cloud and other latest trending technology
Exceptionally strong written and oral communication skills and comfort with the data and numbers
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools like word, ppt, excel, and others.
Successfully drive complex issues through analysis and resolution and the ability to juggle several initiatives successfully and shift priorities as needed.
