Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP FICO Consultant to join our clients team based out of Chennai and play a key role in the design, implementation, and support of SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and functional knowledge of SAP FICO modules, a good understanding of business processes in finance, and experience working on end-to-end SAP implementations or support projects. Key Responsibilities: Gather business requirements and translate them into functional SAP FICO solutions. Configure and support SAP FI modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting. Configure and support SAP CO modules: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and COPA. Manage month-end and year-end financial closing processes within SAP. Design and implement solutions that integrate SAP FICO with other modules (MM, SD, PP, HCM). Collaborate with technical teams to develop custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces. Create functional specifications for RICEFW objects and coordinate with ABAP developers. Support data migration using LSMW, BAPIs, or BDC. Assist with UAT, user training, go-live activities, and post-go-live support. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards. Key Skills: Strong experience in SAP FI: GL, AP, AR, AA, and Bank Accounting. Solid understanding of SAP CO: Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, COPA, and Product Costing. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (preferred but not mandatory). Proficiency in SAP configuration and customization. Good knowledge of financial processes, reporting, and compliance. Integration knowledge with SD, MM, PP, and HCM modules. Hands-on experience with data migration tools like LSMW, BAPI, and BDC, LTMC. Familiarity with automatic payment program, dunning, taxation, and foreign currency revaluation, group reporting. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills. Knowledge of tools like SAP Solution Manager, ServiceNow, or JIRA. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computers or a related field. SAP certification in FICO. 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and support.
