Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled English to Spanish Translator to accurately convert written and spoken content from Spanish into English while maintaining meaning, tone, and context. The ideal candidate will have excellent language proficiency, cultural awareness, and a strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Translate documents, articles, legal texts, and other written materials from Spanish to English. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance in translations. Review and edit translated materials to enhance clarity and readability. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Collaborate with clients or teams to understand project-specific terminology and style preferences. Use translation software or tools when necessary to improve efficiency. Stay updated with language trends and industry terminology. Requirements: Proven experience as a translator or in a similar role. Native or near-native proficiency in English; fluency in Spanish. Strong grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills in both languages. Familiarity with industry-specific terminology (e.g., legal, medical, technical). Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Proficiency in translation tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ) is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Translation, Linguistics, English, Spanish, or a related field.
