Position: HR Generalist

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile HR Generalist who can support core HR operations and people initiatives across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring smooth HR functioning, from recruitment support to employee engagement, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations.
The HR Generalist will work closely with the Head HR and departmental managers, ensuring that our people practices align with business goals, foster a positive culture, and support organizational scaling.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements.
Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle for junior to mid-level roles (sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, feedback follow-ups).
Support in onboarding new hires (documentation, induction, IT setup coordination, etc.).
Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure adherence to hiring SLAs.
Employee Engagement & Communication
Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities, feedback surveys, and communication initiatives.
Support the rollout of HR initiatives like OKRs, PMS (Performance Management System), and L&D (Learning & Development) programs.
HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain employee records in HROne and ERPNext ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
Support payroll processing by collating attendance, leave, and variable data.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations like PF, ESI, gratuity, and labor laws in coordination with external compliance partners.
Maintain HR documentation, including appointment letters, increment letters, and compliance registers.
Performance Management & Grievance Handling
Assist in performance appraisal cycles and tracking KPI/KRA updates.
Provide first-level support to employees regarding HR policies, grievances, and conflict resolution, escalating to the Head – HR as needed.
Learning & Development
Coordinate training programs (internal/external), maintain training calendars, and gather post-training feedback.
Key Competencies
Strong operational focus with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Good understanding of HR best practices, Indian labor laws, and compliance frameworks.
Proficient in HRIS systems (HROne, ERPNext preferred), MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred but not mandatory).
3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Operations role, preferably in manufacturing, electrical, or related industries.
Prior experience in multi-location HR operations (preferred).
