Tax Planning and Strategy : Assist in developing tax strategies aimed at minimizing tax liabilities while complying with legal requirements. Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for tax savings or incentives. Financial Analysis and Reporting : Analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance. Prepare tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements. Audit and Documentation : Support tax audits by preparing documentation and providing necessary information to auditors. Maintain accurate records, documents, and filings related to business taxes. Advisory and Compliance : Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on tax- related matters, answering queries and offering advice on tax implications. Ensure adherence to tax deadlines and compliance requirements. Qualifications : Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in taxation (e. g. , CPA, CTA) could be advantageous. Relevant experience in business tax, accounting, or finance roles, typically 2- 5 years for an executive- level position. Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles. Proficiency in tax preparation software and MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting. Analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data. Effective communication skills for collaboration and advising internal stakeholders.
