Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be passionate about human resources and possess a comprehensive understanding of HR functions. As an HR Generalist at Variate Solar, you will play a pivotal role in Recruitment and Selection, Onboarding and Orientation, HR Administration, Employee Engagement, Training and Development, General Support, Discipline, and Performance Appraisals. Responsibilities: Recruitment and Selection: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations. Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations during the recruitment process. Onboarding and Orientation: Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and assisting with paperwork and documentation. Coordinate with various departments to ensure new employees receive necessary training and resources for success. HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. Handle HR-related inquiries and provide support to employees on HR policies and procedures. Prepare and maintain HR reports and metrics for management review. Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee morale. Organize team-building activities, events, and recognition programs. Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to gauge employee satisfaction and engagement levels. Training and Development: Identify training needs within the organization and coordinate training programs accordingly. Partner with external training providers as needed to deliver specialized training sessions. Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives. General Support: Provide general HR support to employees and management on various HR-related matters. Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR. Discipline: Enforce company policies and procedures consistently and fairly. Address employee disciplinary issues in a timely and professional manner, in accordance with company guidelines and applicable laws. Monthly and Yearly Appraisals: Coordinate performance appraisal processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions. Work closely with managers to ensure performance appraisals are conducted fairly and effectively. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as an HR generalist or similar role, preferably in the renewable energy or related industry. Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office Suite. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. SHRM or other HR certifications are a plus.
