Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented SAP MM Consultant to join our support team. The ideal candidate should have 1.8 to 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM support activities, including ticket resolution, data uploads using LSMW, and monitoring of IDocs and XML-based interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L1|L2 support for SAP MM (Materials Management) incidents and service requests.
Analyze and resolve issues related to procurement, inventory management, goods movement, and invoice verification.
Monitor and handle IDoc errors using standard SAP transactions (WE02/WE05), and reprocess failed documents.
Work with XML-based interfaces for inbound and outbound transactions.
Perform data uploads and corrections using LSMW and other tools.
Coordinate with end users to gather detailed issue descriptions and provide effective resolutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SD, FI, WM) to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
Document fixes, update knowledge base articles, and maintain logs for issue tracking.
Assist in testing activities during patches, upgrades, and minor enhancement deployments.
Required Skills:
1.8 to 2+ years of experience in SAP MM module.
Strong understanding of P2P (Procure to Pay) process: PR, PO, GR, IR, and vendor lifecycle.
Experience with IDoc monitoring, error handling, and basic troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of XML-based interface processing.
Hands-on experience with LSMW for data migration and mass uploads.
Good understanding of master data (Material/Vendor Master) and transactional data handling.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to manage support tickets independently and coordinate with technical teams when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environment.
Familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Solution Manager, or Remedy.
Basic ABAP debugging knowledge to trace functional issues.
Experience in handling integration with external systems using IDoc/XML.
ITIL Foundation certification (preferred but not mandatory).
