Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly proficient German Language Expert who can read, write, and speak German fluently. The ideal candidate will support communication, translation, localization, or client-facing needs, ensuring high linguistic accuracy and cultural sensitivity. This role requires excellent command of both German and English and strong communication and writing skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Speak: Engage with German-speaking clients, customers, or partners through calls, video meetings, or live chats.
Read: Interpret and analyze German documents, reports, and communications to extract key information or insights.
Write: Draft, translate, or localize content from English to German and vice versa (emails, reports, manuals, marketing copy, etc.).
Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, training sessions, or customer interactions.
Proofread and edit German texts for clarity, grammar, and cultural relevance.
Maintain consistency in terminology and tone across all communication and documentation.
Assist in creating or updating German language learning resources, FAQs, or product documentation.
Ensure that all written and verbal German communication aligns with company standards and branding.
Stay updated on cultural and linguistic changes relevant to German-speaking regions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in German, Linguistics, Communication, Translation, or a related field.
Fluent in German (reading, writing, and speaking) and strong command of English.
Previous experience in a German language role (e.g., translator, customer support, interpreter, content writer).
Excellent written and oral communication skills in both languages.
Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt language based on context and audience.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple language-related tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with translation tools or CRM platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce, Trados, MemoQ).
Familiarity with specific terminology in industries like tech, finance, legal, or healthcare.
Certification in language proficiency (e.g., Goethe-Institut Zertifikat, TestDaF, CEFR C1/C2).
