EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS Be part of the engineering team located in Bangalore and work in a highly motivated Scrum team of Payroll Software Development: • Work as a Senior full stack developer in an agile development team according to the Scrum methodology. • Responsible for development, focusing on designs, coding, testing, quality assurance of complex product features in a development team. Resolves complex issues within own area of expertise and supports others in resolving issues. • Show initiative and drive topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency considering the essential non-functional requirements. • Work closely together with others and share expertise to ensure product success. • Constantly improve own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills. • Enhance skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team. • Have advanced overall product and technical knowledge and share expertise within and across team and organization. • Have advanced knowledge of development processes and product standards. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES BE / BTech / MCA / MS / MTech in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology. Required Skills & Competencies • Expert level Java coding skills and expertise in building Web Services (REST, OData), JPA, JDBC with focus on performance and scalability. • Expertise in Spring, Spring-Boot, Dependency Injection, REST, ORM frameworks like Hibernate. • Knowledge of Javascript and web UI frameworks like UI5, React, Angular and other equivalent frameworks is an advantage. • Experience in design and development of distributed software systems and cloud development. • Sound knowledge of OOAD, algorithms, data structures and design patterns. • RDBMS concepts and Solid foundation with relational database and SQL. • DevOps mindset – inherent sense of ownership through the development and deployment lifecycle. • Expertise in debugging, troubleshooting and performance tuning. • Knowledge of lean development infrastructure process including Git, Jenkins etc. and exposure to Continuous Delivery practices. • Test Driven Development and passion about unit testing, integration testing and test automation. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • High self-motivation and execution skills: result-driven, ability and willingness to quickly take responsibility and to execute. • Must have proven ability to work in a team. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred skills • Experience with Micro services-based software development on Cloud Foundry/ Kubernetes/ Hyperscalers. • Experience on Domain Driven design and Event-based architecture • Experience with the development of distributed parallel, transactional, multi-tenant systems. • Working knowledge of SCRUM and agile development principles and tools in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. • Experience of application development in the HXM and Payroll area is an advantage. WORK EXPERIENCE • 8+ Years of experience in cloud software development. • Experience in Test Driven Development and Agile Development. • Proven record of working with diverse teams and partners.
