Role Overview We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Associate to join our Finance & Accounting Outsourcing team. This role involves providing end-to-end accounting support for domestic clients, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a shared services or outsourcing environment and be adept at managing client interactions professionally. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for multiple clients. Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and customer billing according to client-specific workflows. Prepare bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, and support month-end closing processes. Maintain accurate records and documentation to comply with audit and regulatory standards. Ensure timely and accurate filing of TDS, GST returns, and other statutory compliances. Liaise with client stakeholders for clarifications, issue resolution, and periodic review meetings. Assist in preparing client-specific financial reports including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and MIS reports. Support internal and external audit preparations and queries. Adhere strictly to internal SLAs, quality benchmarks, and data confidentiality policies. Qualifications & Skills CA (Inter) / Semi-qualified CA / CMA / B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification. 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in an outsourcing/shared services environment. Proficient in cloud-based accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, NetSuite, or ERP systems. Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and TDS compliance. Exposure to international accounting standards is a plus. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with international clients via email and calls. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively. Preferred Experience Experience in a Finance BPO, FAO firm, or shared services setup. Familiarity with accounting standards such as IND AS or US GAAP is preferred but not mandatory.
