About the Role: Cotiviti is conducting a Walk-In Drive for CPC Certified Medical Coders to join its growing operations team in Pune. This role involves reviewing, analyzing, and assigning accurate medical codes for diagnoses and procedures to ensure compliance and billing accuracy within the US healthcare domain. Key Responsibilities: Perform CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding for medical records with a focus on accuracy and compliance. Review and interpret medical documentation to assign appropriate Evaluation & Management (E/M) and Surgery codes. Maintain 100% adherence to CPC standards and company guidelines. Ensure coding quality and productivity benchmarks are consistently met. Collaborate with the QA and Audit teams to resolve coding discrepancies. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of patient information. Stay updated with current coding standards, payer guidelines, and compliance changes. Work in fixed or rotational night shifts as per business requirements. Eligibility Criteria: ✅ Education: Any Graduate (Medical, Nursing, or Life Sciences background preferred) ✅ Certification: CPC (Certified Professional Coder) – Mandatory ✅ Experience: 1–2 years of experience in E/M, Surgery, or CPT Coding preferred (freshers with CPC certification may also apply) ✅ Domain: US Healthcare / Medical Coding / RCM Required Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology. Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems. Excellent analytical and documentation skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Team-oriented with high integrity and attention to detail. Willingness to work night shifts and from office.
