We are looking for a Legal Executive to join our Legal Department in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, to support litigation, compliance, and recovery-related functions. Position Overview The Legal Executive will be responsible for handling litigation and non-litigation legal matters, managing recovery under the SARFAESI Act, and ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. The role demands strong legal drafting, analytical, and coordination skills to support business and legal operations effectively. Key Responsibilities Litigation Management: Handle and monitor legal cases related to SARFAESI Act, DRT proceedings, civil, criminal, consumer, and arbitration matters. Non-Litigation Support: Manage corporate legal functions including agreement vetting, title verification, mortgage creation, and documentation. Recovery Management: Oversee shortfall recovery processes and liaise with enforcement agencies or advocates to ensure timely resolution. Drafting & Documentation: Draft, vet, and finalize legal notices, contracts, and agreements. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all legal communications and proceedings. Advisory & Compliance: Provide legal advice to internal teams on business operations and regulatory compliance. Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant legal frameworks. Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with law firms, advocates, and government authorities for case progress and documentation. Collaborate with internal departments like recovery, credit, and operations for legal process alignment. Required Qualifications & Skills Education: LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized university (mandatory). Additional qualifications in Corporate or Financial Law will be an added advantage. Experience: 1 to 6 years of experience in litigation, DRT, SARFAESI, recovery, and corporate legal functions, preferably in NBFCs, banks, or financial institutions. Core Skills: Strong knowledge of SARFAESI Act, DRT proceedings, and recovery mechanisms. Proficiency in drafting, vetting, and reviewing legal documents. Hands-on experience with corporate and regulatory compliance. Understanding of civil and criminal litigation processes. Excellent coordination and case follow-up skills. Soft Skills: Analytical and detail-oriented mindset. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High ethical standards and integrity. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Timely management and closure of legal cases. Accuracy and compliance in documentation and reporting. Efficient coordination with external legal counsel and internal teams. Reduction in outstanding recovery cases and shortfall amounts.
