Job Overview Aionos is seeking a skilled SAP FICO Consultant (Implementation) with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and support. This role requires a bilingual professional (Japanese JLPT N3 or above) capable of interacting with Japanese stakeholders and contributing to financial process transformation in SAP S/4HANA environments. The consultant will be responsible for requirement gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support across finance and controlling modules. Key Responsibilities 1. SAP FICO Implementation & Configuration Support complete implementation cycles including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and go-live. Configure core FICO modules: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Asset Accounting (AA) Cost Center Accounting (CCA) Internal Orders / CO-PA Assist with integration across MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules. 2. Requirement Gathering & Documentation Collaborate with Japanese and Indian business teams to understand requirements. Translate business processes into functional specifications. Prepare process documents, test scripts, and support UAT activities. 3. Testing & Deployment Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Provide hypercare support post-go-live for smooth transition. 4. Support & Enhancements Handle L1/L2 support tickets for financial and controlling processes. Perform configuration corrections and minor enhancements. Support month-end and quarter-end financial closures. 5. Stakeholder & Client Communication Communicate effectively with Japanese clients in JLPT N3+ level Japanese. Participate in project meetings, prepare minutes, and track action items. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills 1–3 years of hands-on SAP FICO implementation and configuration experience. Understanding of key finance cycles: Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Order-to-Cash (O2C) Record-to-Report (R2R) Good understanding of module integrations. Exposure to SAP S/4HANA is an added advantage. Language Skills Japanese proficiency: JLPT N3 or above (mandatory). Ability to handle discussions, documentation, and coordination with Japanese stakeholders. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Cross-cultural communication skills. Attention to detail with strong documentation capabilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Japanese clients or teams. Understanding of GST, TDS, asset accounting, and closing processes. Exposure to SAP Fiori apps and S/4HANA innovations. SAP FICO certification (preferred). Education Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields. MBA/PGDM in Finance preferred.
