Position Overview
The EC Payroll Professional will be responsible for managing and processing payroll activities within SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. The role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant payroll execution while coordinating with cross-functional teams such as HR, Finance, and Compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in payroll systems, and the ability to resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing & Compliance
Manage and oversee end-to-end payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement.
Calculate payroll components, including taxes, statutory deductions, bonuses, and other withholdings.
Maintain and update payroll records in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal payroll policies.
Data Verification & Reporting
Review and validate payroll inputs for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare periodic payroll reports, reconciliation statements, and year-end summaries for management.
Track variances and perform payroll audits to ensure data integrity.
Employee Support
Handle employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Provide clear communication regarding salary components, deductions, and adjustments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and HR Operations teams to ensure smooth and accurate payroll execution.
Support HR initiatives related to employee lifecycle management (onboarding, transfers, exits).
Required Skills & Competencies
Experience with SAP SuccessFactors / SAP EC Payroll / SAP HCM.
Knowledge of HR operations, payroll systems, compliance, and statutory regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
Qualifications
Education:
UG: Any Graduate
PG: Any Postgraduate (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience:
1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing, preferably in SAP SuccessFactors or SAP HCM ecosystems.
