About the Role Black Box is seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA MM Consultant with strong Functional expertise in Material Management along with EDI knowledge. Experience in EWM will be an added advantage. The consultant will lead SAP MM implementations, customizations, integrations, and optimization initiatives to support critical business processes. Key Responsibilities SAP MM Configuration & Customization Perform detailed configuration of SAP MM in S/4HANA: material master, purchasing, inventory management, valuation, and account determination. Customize document types, item categories, release strategies, and approval workflows. Configure movement types, storage locations, batch management, and special stock indicators. Define valuation classes, account categories, account grouping, and automatic account determination. Master Data Management Set up and maintain Material Master, including material types, attributes, and valuation classes. Configure Vendor Master: account groups, payment terms, partner functions, and evaluation criteria. Procurement & Source Determination Configure source lists, quota arrangements, and source determination strategies. Customize settings for purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, and release strategies. Inventory & Goods Movement Customize goods receipt (GR) and goods issue (GI) processes. Support inventory postings, stock transfers, and adjustments. Invoice Verification Configure tolerance limits, vendor-specific tolerances, and exception handling. Integration & Interfaces Ensure seamless integration with modules such as SD, PP, and FI. Configure EDI interfaces and data exchange with third-party systems. Workflow & Authorization Configure workflows for procurement approval processes. Define authorization roles, profiles, and security controls. Process Analysis & Optimization Conduct detailed analysis of existing MM processes. Identify gaps, propose process improvements, and implement industry best practices. Training & Support Provide training to end users and support teams. Prepare documentation, SOPs, and configuration guides. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Proven experience as a Senior SAP MM Consultant. Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA MM. Expertise in MM configuration, customization, and integration. Knowledge of EDI; EWM experience is an added advantage. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage end-to-end implementations. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
