Job Summary UPL Limited is seeking detail-oriented Data Analysts to support its Internal Audit and Data Analytics initiatives. This role offers hands-on exposure to data validation, exception analysis, internal controls, and business process reviews. It is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals interested in analytics, audit, and risk advisory. Key Responsibilities Validate and review exceptions generated by data analytics tools against defined business rules Perform data accuracy, completeness, and consistency checks on large datasets Analyze transactional data to identify genuine issues, false positives, and data quality gaps Document validation outcomes with clear observations, root cause analysis, and evidence Maintain exception logs, validation trackers, and audit working papers Escalate high-risk exceptions or unusual data trends to senior team members Collaborate with process owners to resolve validation-related queries Support periodic dashboards and reports summarizing validation results Required Qualifications Any Graduate (Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply) Required Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and high accuracy Logical and analytical thinking ability Basic understanding of data concepts (transactions, fields, filters, exceptions) Ability to follow structured validation and documentation processes Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with large datasets and meet deadlines Technical Skills (Mandatory) MS Excel (Filters, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP) Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills Exposure to data analytics tools: ACL, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python Basic understanding of audit, controls testing, or process analysis Knowledge of business processes such as: Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Order-to-Cash (O2C) Inventory or Finance processes Why Join UPL?
