Job Summary The Hackett Group is seeking a motivated SAP MM Trainee to support SAP Material Management implementations and support engagements. This role provides hands-on exposure to SAP MM configuration, documentation, testing, and post-go-live support, while working closely with senior consultants, ABAP developers, and cross-functional teams in a consulting environment. Roles & Responsibilities Collaborate with business and line functions to collect and validate functional data Learn and support SAP MM business solutions used by client organizations Configure, document, and test SAP MM business transactions as per functional and technical requirements Work closely with the ABAP development team for enhancements and custom developments Assist in setting up organizational structures including purchasing organization, valuation areas, plants, storage locations, and warehouse structures Support senior consultants in documentation, configuration, and testing activities Prepare master data templates (Material Master, Vendor Master, Info Records, Source List, Purchase Orders, Excise Master) Develop user manuals and assist in training business process owners Support Go-Live preparation and post-go-live activities Troubleshoot SAP MM issues and coordinate resolutions with senior team members Raise Change Requests (CRs) and draft functional specifications Prepare test data, test cases, test scenarios, and solution documents Assist in cross-module integration activities Learn blueprint creation to support SAP MM configuration Maintain compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and IP protection standards Essential Skills & Knowledge Knowledge of Procurement & Inventory Management processes Exposure to: Purchasing & Pricing Release Strategies Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV) External Service Management Batch & Serial Number Management Output Determination Cross-Module Integration Strong understanding of SAP MM module SAP MM Certification (Preferred) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Personal & Behavioral Competencies Strong understanding of business objectives and organizational structures High ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Collaborative team player with a commitment to excellence Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines Strong negotiation and stakeholder communication skills Flexible, dynamic, and eager to learn in a consulting environment Key Skills SAP SAP MM Material Management Procurement & Purchasing Release Strategies SAP CIN Inventory Management
