Job Overview Metaphor Consulting is seeking a skilled SAP MM Consultant (L1 Support) to support day-to-day SAP Materials Management operations. The role involves handling L1 support issues, resolving helpdesk tickets, coordinating with L0 teams, and ensuring smooth execution of the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle. Key Responsibilities 1. L1 SAP MM Support Analyze and resolve L1 support issues assigned by the L0 support team Handle SAP MM-related incidents and service requests through the helpdesk system Ensure timely closure of tickets in line with SLA requirements 2. Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Operations Support the complete Purchase-to-Pay lifecycle, including: Purchase Requisition & Purchase Order processing Goods Receipt (GR) Invoice Receipt & Invoice Matching Payment Processing 3. Master Data Management Maintain and support Material Master, Vendor Master, and Purchasing Master data Assist in account assignment, batch management, and inventory management activities 4. Documentation & SOP Preparation Prepare and update User Manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new objects and processes Support knowledge transfer and documentation for process improvements 5. SAP MM Functional Support Execute SAP MM standard reports and analyze SAP MM tables as required Support GST-related MM processes and compliance requirements 6. Team Coordination Understand issue complexity and provide guidance to the L0 support team Escalate complex issues to L2 teams when required Required Skills & Qualifications Education Any Graduate (No gaps in education or career are mandatory) Experience 1 – 2 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM L1 Support Technical Skills Strong knowledge of SAP MM module End-to-end understanding of P2P processes Experience in: Master Data Management Procurement & Inventory Management Invoice Verification & Payment Processing Account Assignment & Batch Management GST in SAP MM Knowledge of SAP MM tables and report execution Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication and coordination abilities Ability to handle multiple tickets and priorities efficiently Compensation CTC: ₹2.0 – ₹3.5 LPA Salary offered will be based on experience and technical expertise About Metaphor Consulting Metaphor Consulting is a specialized IT consulting firm delivering high-quality SAP solutions and support services.
